Try a little of the paint you're for using to coat the walls mixed into the fillers. ( hardstop) prevents flashing of fillers through emulsion 👍🏻👍🏻

I always put masking tape over plug sockets therefore avoiding Paste getting into the holes,then remove when the paper is dry and screw up socket back to the wall. Saves all that cleaning later on!

Apparently there’s a 1 hour paintable caulk available! Don’t know the brand and have never used it but would be interested to hear any comments on it.

Dont waste ppls time by doing silly stupid clips, either do a full lenght how to paint doors and base boards or don't bother.

Hi. Depends on how lumpy the filler has been applied,if a diyer has done it I would flat it back with 80 grit for starters but as a general rule usually I start with 120 grit and finish it with 150 or sometimes 180. Just remember to sand the surrounding area around the filler otherwise after you have hollered over the filler it may look a lot smoother than the rest of the wall,all depends on the texture of the original finish as to how far you may need to denib the wall.
